OPEN CHESS TOURNAMENT

TO ALL CHESSPLAYERS:
Sibalom Water District sponsors an Open Chess Tournament on October 5, 2009 at the Sibalom Water District Ofice at 1:30 p.m.. The first game will be played at the Sibalom Water District. Succeeding games will be played at Alex and Al Café and Snackhouse, Sibalom, Antique. Players should be in the playing area before the start of the tournament. Hon. Prospero Pichay, President of the National Chess Federation of the Philippines(NCFP) will be our Most Honored Guest .

MECHANICS:
- Open to all interested players
- 7 rounds, Swiss system
- 1 hour, play to finish
- 20 minutes defaulting time
- Decision of Chief Arbiter prevails
- No registration fee

Champion - P2,000.00 + Chesszone Magazine
Second - P1,000.00
Third - P 500.00
